Observing the sun: two sunny days on March 15 and 16, 2025

March 15 and 16, 2025, were two remarkable days for solar observation enthusiasts. The skies were clear, and the sun shone brightly, providing perfect conditions for observing our closest star. Armed with my new TS-Optics PhotoLine 80 telescope, I spent these days capturing the sun's fascinating features.

As I set up my telescope on March 15, I was greeted by a plethora of smaller sunspots scattered across the sun's surface. These sunspots, although smaller in size, were numerous and provided a captivating view.

March 16, 2025 continued the trend of excellent weather and clear skies. With the sunspots still visible, I decided to take another series of photos to compare with the previous day's images. The TS-Optics PhotoLine 80 telescope once again proved its worth, capturing the intricate details of the sunspots.

As I observed the sun, I noticed subtle changes in the positions of the sunspots, indicating the sun's rotation. This observation inspired me to create an animation to visualize the sun's rotation over the two days.
