During a meeting in the Observatory of Vienna, I had the chance to visit the old observatory. The main telescope is a 69cm refractor telescope, the largest refractor telescope during the inauguration in 1883.  Enjoy the pictures! Around All Saints day we made a trip to the Gorge du Tarn and the Camargue.  I played a bit with my Canon EOS 80D with standard lens to make some pictures of the sky.  I think the pictures are quite good for some first tests and a standard lens. I hope to improve my pictures soon. 

A meeting in the Royal Observatory of Edinburgh was a nice opportunity to take some pictures of the observatory building.

For work, I had to be in the Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, USA. I'm was doing some tests on the MIRI instrument of the James Webb Space Telescope.  The entrance of the Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt.
