For work (helping with the commissioning of the MIRI instrument on the James Webb Space Telescope), I had to be in Baltimore for a bit more than two weeks. I flew to (and from) the Washington DC (Dulles) airport. Very close by the airport, I visited the Udvar-Hazy Center, an air and space museum. The most impressive spacecraft to see is the Space Shuttle Discovery. The planes that are displayed are also really impressive: The concorde, Enola Gay, the Blackbird, ... A very nice museum to spend some time before boarding the flight back to Europe!
