Fun in the garden

Tonight was the first clear night of a week full with predicted nice weather.  Our daughter also asked to look through the telescope and we enjoyed the views of Venus, the Pleiades, M 42 and M 35.  We also took some time to do light-painting, which resulted in these nice pictures.

I took some pictures of Venus and the Pleiades. They are close to each other in the sky now.

I also did some observations later in the evening.  The sketches will appear later on this blog.
